Stop motion

A stop motion experiment that developed from a simple idea and came to life from concept to completion in a single day.

The animation was created using a collage technique. Each raindrop was hand-painted with watercolours, cut out, and then individually moved and photographed to create the illusion of movement. A total of 34 photographs were combined to create a short 3-second stop motion animation.

The project explores the possibilities of handmade animation and the transformation of a simple paper collage into movement.
